Art Around the World
Grades 6-8
Monday 10:30 - 12:00pm
Come join me on a great and unforgettable adventure in Art around the World. We will study a variety of art, artists, and the culture of places around the globe.
As we create an amazing art piece from either a landmark, a style of art or a particular artist, we will also learn how to say hello and goodbye in the language of that country. Each student will be required to keep a notebook to write down the adventures we will be taking. We will use a variety of art supplies during our “travels” and spend two class times for each country. The students will also be given a Passport and add images to it for each country, including a postage stamp, picture of a banknote, and what the actual passport of the country looks like. This will help them to remember all that we have done and have a keepsake of a variety of countries.
